1 package of Spaghetti No. 3
1 jar of Homemade Recipe Tomato Sauce
50 g of grated parmesan cheese|250 g of minced beef
250 g of minced beef
250 g of minced pork
1 egg
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Flour to coat
Nutmeg
Garlic powder
Fresh parsley
Olive oil
Dried oregano or basil
Ground black pepper
Mix the minced meats with egg, breadcrumbs, a pinch of salt, pepper, nutmeg, garlic powder and parsley to taste.
Coat the meatballs in flour and fry them in olive oil. Set aside.
Heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan on a medium heat. Add the meatballs and let them cook for 10 minutes.
Boil the spaghetti for 8 minutes. Strain and add to the saucepan with the sauce and meatballs.
Add a pinch of salt, pepper and cheese. Sprinkle a little dried oregano and cheese on top.
Tip: Set aside a glass of the cooking water to add to the sauce. It will thin the sauce without it losing any flavour.
